In 2006 I showed new work as an artist in Mexic-Arte Museum's 11th iteration of their ELA or Emerging Latino Artists (formerly known as YLA- Young Latino Artists.) In 2013 I was invited to curate the museum's 18th exhibition in the series in what was one of my most fulfilling curatorial projects to date.

Now in 2020, As ELA celebrates 25 years, I was been invited back to participate as an artist again, in a retrospective dive into the deep history of contemporary work by Latinx artists at the museum.
