Mentor Program Opening

This Friday is the opening for the exhibition for The Contemporary Austin's Advanced Young Artist Mentor Program. For the past 7 months, I have mentored an advanced high school art student. We met and worked weekly to explore various media, visit various art institutions and individuals in the art community to expand his art experience. The final project was to collaborate on the work of art that is being presented Friday at Pump Project Gallery in East Austin. I had a great time working with Rodolfo my mentee and am excited to present our piece, “Vitrina.”
