Francisco Castro Miranda (Guadalajara, 1980) studied a Bachelor of Design for Graphic Communication at the University of Guadalajara (UdG). For the past 10 years, his flagship studio Curious Flux has produced an important corpus of illustrations, editorial projects, graphic and corporate identity, photography, animated digital art and typography. Likewise, he has entered the field of installations, art on paper and the design / creation of utilitarian and decorative objects. In such a diversity of creative manifestations there is, as a common thread, an eclectic, playful and fresh aesthetic search, often inspired by the popular Mexican graphic tradition.
Francisco Castro Miranda (Guadalajara, 1980) estudió la Licenciatura en Diseño para la Comunicación Gráfica en la Universidad de Guadalajara (UdG). Desde hace 10 años, su estudio insignia Curious Flux ha producido un importante corpus de ilustraciones, proyectos editoriales, de identidad gráfica y corporativa, fotografía, arte digital animado y tipografía. Asimismo, ha incurrido en el campo de las instalaciones, el arte en papel y el diseño/creación de objetos utilitarios y decorativos. En tal diversidad de manifestaciones creativas se encuentra, como hilo conductor, una búsqueda estética ecléctica, lúdica y fresca, a menudo inspirada de la tradición gráfica popular mexicana.
