The title for WWII references the battle or war going on between the objects to retain their connotations as well as being an abbreviation for "Women's Work." The number "II"represents it's chronological order in the series.
"WWII" was also featured in "Juan Leche" a Good/Bad Art Collective show in Brooklyn, NY in 2002l

"Babylon Skirt" is a physical manifestation of a song I wrote around this time of the same name. This piece is about the suppression of women in corporate and political circles. This tower of skirts has a just hidden circle of men's shoes around the base, peeking under and keeping tabs.
