For the 52nd Annual Competition at the Museums of Abilene, I submitted "excerpt from soliloquy" which is just that, an excerpt from the installation of the same name. It acted as a piece of evidence or artifact of the installation as well as an individual piece itself.

It later became a central piece and spring board for my eventual solo offering "Corporate Whirled" at the Lawndale Arts Center in Houston, TX.
